    Dr. Piyush is a Consultant in the Department of Neurology & Neurointervention at Fortis Memorial Research Institute. Dr Piyush Ojha completed his MBBS from R.N.T. Medical College, Udaipur, Rajasthan & MD (Medicine) from MGM Medical College, Indore, Madhya Pradesh in 2013. He was awarded Gold Medal for the Best Postgraduate student (2013) in the department of Medicine during his postgraduation. He then completed his DM (Neurology) from Government Medical College, Kota in 2017. After that he finished his Stroke Fellowship from the prestigious Calgary Stroke Program (Canada), which is among the best centers for Stroke care in the world. He then successfully completed his Neurointervention Fellowship (FINR) from Medanta- The Medicity, Gurugram, India. He has 9 years of experience to his credit in field of Neurology and has experience of managing all Neurology patients (outpatient and inpatient), which included cases of acute stroke, epilepsy, headache, neuromuscular disorders, dementia, movement disorders, botox injections etc. With his vast experience as a Stroke Neurologist and Neurointerventionist, he has been performing diagnostic angiograms (cerebral and spinal) along with therapeutic neurointervention procedures which includes mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, carotid stenting and AVM embolizations. He also has experience of using the latest devices in the Neurointervention field such as Flow diverters (intravascular and intrasaccular).

    Brain Stroke
